Our Story

AS01 Self Drive was founded in Guwahati with a simple but powerful idea: to make self-drive car rental genuinely accessible in Northeast India. For years, travellers visiting the region had limited options. You could hire a taxi with a driver, rely on infrequent public transport, or try to arrange a vehicle through informal contacts. None of these options gave travellers the freedom, privacy, and flexibility that a self-drive car provides.

We saw an opportunity to change that. Starting with a small fleet and a commitment to quality, we built AS01 Self Drive into a service that locals and visitors alike trust for everything from daily commutes within Guwahati to multi-day road trips across the eight northeastern states.

Our mission is straightforward: provide reliable, affordable, and well-maintained vehicles so that every customer can explore Northeast India with confidence.
